OUR LITTLE SECRET exposes some very serious crimes against innocent children. The title does not prepare you for the graphic nature of the torture two young boys suffered at the hands of a strong, powerful, respected man in the community. His absolutely evil control over the children intimidated them enough to keep the horrible secret far longer than they should have. The characters are wonderful; you will really like Geoffrey. The title seems so benign since the secret was so sordid. This book is not for the faint of heart or stomach, but, I think parents, teachers, and other adults should read it as it might help them protect other children from actual sexual predators who can maim a child forever.
