Touched By An Angel, A 9/11 Short Story

The award-winning Touched By An Angel, A 9/11 Short Story is about love lost, friendship found. Geoffrey Brooks lost his boyfriend in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. One year later in a remembrance rally Geoffrey meets and befriends a 10-year old young lady who has also lost a loved one. Emily has lost her hero father, one of the 343 firefighters who lost their lives on that horrible day in history.

This is the story of how two people found each other and taught each other how to trust and love again.

This, for me, was the story that made me a fanatic of Mr Carey-Infante’s writing. After reading Touched By An Angel, A 9/11 Short Story I truly feel like I have been touched by an angel. Although I did not know any of the people who lost their lives on that tragic day of September 11, 2001, I nonetheless feel a kinship to their families and loved ones who did, as I am sure most Americans, and, indeed, the world, do. Mr. Carey-Infante has again shown us a path to hope and healing. I guarantee that you will be moved to tears by the time you finish reading this one. I am not ashamed to tell you that I was.
